Gwynedd is all those lands from Offa’s Dyke in the marches to Aberdaron in the West, and Swtan on the coast of North Anglesey to Pennal in the South of Meirionnydd. 1100 is the start of the Age of the Princes and 1800 is the start of the Modern Age. Much of Gwynedd has been by-passed by modern history so there are many survivals to illustrate the lives of our ancestors. This book explores their methods of construction, how their buildings have been altered, how they lived their lives and how they traded.
