The Society was established in 1951 to serve members and visitors who have an interest in the local history of Conwy Town and Aberconwy District. The Society holds regular monthly lectures, organises outings and field trips of historical interest.

Welcome to the Aberconwy Historical Society. We aim to bring you some of the best guest speakers at our meetings throughout the year. If you have a fascination with local history or are new to the area then come and join us at our next meeting. You will be very welcome.

Chairman Rob Naybour presents Councilor Sian Grady with the chain of office  for the  Presidency of the Society.

Sian will be confirmed as the new mayor of Conwy next week.
